Black Marsh Turtle DISTRIBUTION: Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, and Malaysia. EMPIRE STOCK: WC SIZE: 20 cm. HABITAT: Slow moving soft bottomed bodies of water. DIET: I feed mine snails, earthworms, shrimp, and Mazuri Turtle. SEXING: Males have longer thicker tails. BREEDING: Genotypic Sex Determination (GSD) NOTES: Of the various WC animals I have worked with, these have been the hardest to acclimate. I don't think they are more fragile than other turtles, they probably are just treated poorly prior to export. Many had oral injuries from and internal complications due to fishhooks.
