Twist-necked Turtle

Distribution: Columbia , Venezuala, the Guianas, Suriname, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Brazil.

Empire Stock: WC exported from Suriname and Guyana.

Size: Up to 18 cm.

Habitat: Found in shallow pools and marshes.

Diet: I feed mine Mazuri Turtle, earthworms, mealworms, snails.

Sexing: Males have longer thicker tails.

Breeding:

Notes: Their scientific name translates as "flat turtle" "flat head".

Sub adult.

These turtles quickly become used to humans and will leave the pond or plant cover to take food from your hand.
