Twist-necked Turtle Distribution: Columbia , Venezuala, the Guianas, Suriname, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Brazil. Empire Stock: WC exported from Suriname and Guyana. Size: Up to 18 cm. Habitat: Found in shallow pools and marshes. Diet: I feed mine Mazuri Turtle, earthworms, mealworms, snails. Sexing: Males have longer thicker tails. Breeding: Notes: Their scientific name translates as "flat turtle" "flat head". |
