DISTRIBUTION: India, Pakistan, Assam, and Bangladesh. EMPIRE STOCK: CB SIZE: Up to 35 cm SCL. HABITAT: Indus and Ganges River systems. Appears to live in a variety of habitats, but probably does best in clear, heavily vegetated water. DIET: Mazuri Turtle, snails, chopped fish, and shrimp. SEXING: Males have concave plastrons with longer thicker tails. BREEDING: NOTES: Listed as Endangered. Rare in the wild, but prolific in captivity.
