European Pond Turtle

DISTRIBUTION: Northwest Africa, Portugal north to Aral Sea region and south to Iran.

EMPIRE STOCK: WC exported from Russia.

SIZE: Up to 23 cm.

HABITAT: Found in a variety slow moving and soft bottomed bodies of water.

DIET: Carnivorous. I feed mine Mazuri Freshwater Turtle pellets, fish, snails, and crayfish.

SEXING: Males tend to have reddish or brown eyes, while females have yellow to white eyes.
