Southern Ringneck Snake

Florida Distribution: entire state.

Identification:  up to 45 cm. Small slender snake with an interrupted reddish ring around neck and half moon dark spots along center of belly.

These three were found together under a plant pot (not a pot plant) on a patio.

The interrupted neck ring and half moon spots can be seen better in this picture.
