Florida Distribution: entire state.

Identification: up to 3.8 cm. Yellow spots on back of thigh.

Adult frog.

Yellow spots on back of thigh that help identify this frog. They are normally obscured when the frog is in its sitting position.

Young frog showing  dorsal pattern. These frogs are not always grey, they can also be a reddish color.

Tadpole. Identified by the bright colored tail with the flagella whip at the end and the light colored center.
