Florida Distribution: INTRODUCED SPECIES. Scattered populations in Florida Keys.

Identification: up to 28 cm. Bright green with reddish stripe running from the eyes to the nostrils and spots on back.

These beautiful geckos are diurnal (day active) and very wary.

The scales along the sides are very granular. Also, the skin of these geckos is very easily torn, so if you must handle them, then handle with care.
